By Rail: Burnley Manchester Road is the closest railway station to the ground. The ground is clearly visible from just outside of the station.

Burnley are one of only three teams that have won all four of the proffesional leagues in England. The others being Wolverhampton Wanderers and Preston North End.
Ex-Burnley manager Spen Whittaker passed away having fallen from a train whilst heading to London to register a player with the FA.
