Where is it???
By Car (From South): At Junction 21a of the M6, take the M62 eastbound. Leave the M62 at Junction 12. Follow the signs to the M61 heading towards Bolton/Preston. Get off of the M61 at Junction 6. You can see the ground from this Junction and it is well signposted.
By Car (From North): Take the M6 to Junction 29 and then take the M65 heading towards Blackburn. Leave the M65 at Junction 2 and join the M61 Manchester Bound. Get off of the M61 at Junction 6. You can see the ground from this Junction and it is well signposted.
By Rail: The stadium is served by Horwivh Parkway Station. It is just a few minutes walk from the Reebok Stadium and there are regular trains to it from Bolton's main station.
Trivia
The nickname 'The Trotters' was given to them because they used to play on a farm near some pigs. Stray balls would often end up in the pig pens.
