Trivia
The Baseball Ground was the setting for 'Murphy's Mob', a Central TV series in the late 1980's.
In 1978, Derby signed the first ever shirt sponsorship deal in the football league with Saab. Their name appeared in red on the players shirts for their pre-season photo-shoot, but the FA would not sanction shirt sponsorship so it was never used in a competetive match.
