Where is it???
By Car (from North): From the end of the M1, take the A406 (North Circular) towards Harrow. In 4.5 miles, turn onto the A40, passing Loftus Road. In four miles, turn right onto the A402. In 350 yards, take the A219 for about half a mile. At Hammersmith, take the A315 and nearly as soon as your on the A315, you need to turn onto the A219. In about half a mile, the ground is down some side streets to your right.
By Car (from South): Leave the M25 at Junction 10, taking the A3 towards Central London. In about 8 miles, take the A219 towards Putney. Keep going past Putney High Street and over Putney Bridge and the ground is visable on your left.
Parking: Local streets have controlled council parking meters (£1.60 per hour at time of writting this), but you will have to get there fairly early. Evenings and Sundays, parking is free.
By Tube/Rail: Putney bridge is the closest station. It's on the District Line and is about a 15 minue walk from the ground. You need to walk through Bishop's Park and along the Riverbank. However, Bishop's Park is closed after evening matches.

Trivia
The famous Cottage was built after an error in the plans for the ground. Leitch, the planner forgot to include changing rooms in the original plan.
