Where is it???
By Car (from North/South/West): At Junction 15, leave the M6. Take the A500 towards 'Stoke-on-Trent'. Leave the A500 and get onto the A50 towards Derby/Uttoxeter. Take the first turn off. At the traffic lights, turn right and head over the fly-over. You are now at the stadium.
By Car (from East): Take the A50 towards Stoke-on-Trent. Take the last possible turn off and the stadium is on your left.
Parking: Contact the club at least a few days in advance to book parking at the ground. If you turn up without booking then you will be turned away.
By Rail: Stoke-on-Trent, rather obviously is the station to go to. Right by the station is the local Bus station. Take the number 23 shuttle bus. This goes straight to and from the ground.

Trivia
When the Football League was formed in 1888, Stoke were one of the 12 founder members. They lost their place to Sunderland in 1890.
After finishing as champions of the Football Alliance in 1891, Stoke were voted back into the Football League following the decision to add two more clubs for the 1891-92 season. In 1908, they went into liquidation and resigned from the League.
Local businessmen, the clergy (the Victoria Ground was owned by the Church of England) and supporters formed a new limited company and purchased the old club's assets. The new club applied to rejoin the League but were rejected in favour of Tottenham Hotspur.
They were re-elected into the league in 1915 for the third time. However, with the suspension of football during the Great War, they didn't play any fixtures until 1919.
